Years ago (when I worked in an office) one of my dream jobs was to work for Country Style Magazine visiting and photographing all the gorgeous cottages and shops and villages of country Australia. Of course reality had other ideas for me but it seems that sometimes your dreams do eventuate, maybe not exactly when or how you first imagined - but in exactly the right way for you!
So when I first arrived at this gorgeous little french style country cottage in Mapleton I was in heaven - here was my dream except it was reality! This beautiful home was the setting for Brooke and Tims Wedding and and I had the pleasure of creating their photos.
Brooke and Tim were realising a dream of their own - to be married amongst family and friends and celebrate in a beautiful simple stylish way! Tim meditated to gain focus, with his brothers by his side for support while Brooke opted for a glass of champagne to calm her nerves, with her sisters helping the day run smoothly. All the details were superb right down to the cute rustic notepad and pencil for guests. The rain made the garden sparkle and the relaxed atmosphere was truly magical.
It seemed like we were all exactly where we were meant to be!
